The content model

How a page is put together

A page is a route and an ordered list of blocks. Each block is a component the design system owns, and its content is held in fields — including repeatable groups — and every publish and change is on the record.

1Page

  • Route

A path such as /features, with status, publish and expiry dates.

  • Layout

The header-and-footer shell the page renders inside.

  • SEO fields

Head tags and schema.org data for the page itself.

2Blocks

  • Ordered sections

Hero, feature grid, FAQ — placed and reordered by the editor.

  • UI Blocks

Reusable trees of containers, grids and tabs.

3Components

  • Design-system types

Each block names a component by its code key.

  • Bindings & relationships

Lists filled from collections, resolved per page.

4Fields

  • Typed values

Text, rich text, media, numbers, choices — validated on save.

  • Repeaters

Repeatable groups of fields, stored item by item.

  • Locales

Per-locale overrides on top of the base language.

5Publish

  • Draft & schedule

Preview the draft on the real site, then publish on a date.

  • Activity & audit

Who published and changed it, from where — with every field’s before and after.

Page: 3 parts, then Blocks: 2 parts, then Components: 2 parts, then Fields: 3 parts, then Publish: 2 parts.

Content modeling

Describe your content once, precisely, and let the CMS hold everyone to it.

  • Content types

Four kinds — page, component, bundle and design-system — with nested, repeatable field trees and validation.

  • Collections

Reusable lists like people, clients or technologies, with create, duplicate, reorder and per-locale overrides.

  • Relationships

Define an edge between two types once; it resolves against the page being rendered, and the other side shows “Referenced by”.

  • Data bindings

A saved query over a type’s entries, mapped onto a component — “the latest ten posts as cards” — with a live preview.

  • Rich text

Authored HTML edited in place, sanitised at every point it is rendered.

  • Locales

A master list of languages, locale-prefixed URLs and per-entry locale overrides.

  • Dynamic components

One band of cards drawn from several content types at once — the latest guides, articles and events together — kept current with no hand-placed cards.

Page building

Pages are made of the same components your developers ship — no lookalikes.

  • Page editor

Route, blocks, fields and SEO in four steps, with publish and expiry dates.

  • Templates & layouts

Named starting presets for single or collection pages, and a header-and-footer shell chosen per page.

  • UI Blocks

Reusable trees of containers, grids, tabs and components, with spacing, column spans and per-breakpoint visibility.

  • Live component preview

The admin renders the real design-system component from the values being typed.

  • Draft preview

Unpublished and scheduled pages open on the real site behind a token-gated preview link.

  • Design Sync

Component schemas are scanned, diffed and applied as content types — nobody re-types a field.

  • Fast, fresh pages

Pages are served from cache and refreshed the moment you publish — no waiting for a cache to expire.

Brand & design

Make the site yours from the admin, and plan new pages from the components you already have.

  • Brand theme

Pick one brand colour and the full light and dark palette is generated and checked for legibility. Set the corner style and your heading and body fonts — any Google font, self-hosted.

  • Publish and restore

Preview a theme before it goes live, publish it to every page at once, and restore any earlier version in one click.

  • Page builder canvas

Designers mock up pages from your real components on a canvas before anything is built — and Claude can compose them for you.

  • One design system

The same components power the admin preview, the website and the canvas, so what you plan is what ships.

Media

  • Media library

Folders, search and one picker reused on every screen.

  • Large uploads

Real upload progress for files up to 1 GB, stored in S3-compatible object storage.

  • Checked from the bytes

A file’s type is verified from its content, not trusted from its name.

SEO & discoverability

  • SEO fields

Head tags edited in the page editor’s SEO step, with character counts.

  • schema.org & JSON-LD

A searchable catalogue of schema.org types, mapped per type and per field, plus site-wide Organization and WebSite data.

  • Sitemaps

An XML sitemap for crawlers and an HTML site directory for people.

  • SEO audit

Compares what the CMS holds with what the live page actually serves — per page, site-wide, and on publish.

  • IndexNow

Switch it on and generate the key in the admin, choose the engines, and resubmit changed pages on every edit and the sitemap daily, weekly or monthly — with a log of every submission. No code, no server settings.

  • Link integrity

A scan of every known URL for 404s, with a confirm pass to weed out false alarms.

  • Site verification

Paste the Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools code — or the whole meta tag — and publish. No developer, no deploy.

Ready for AI agents

Built so assistants and crawlers can read your site as well as people do.

  • llms.txt

llms.txt and llms-full.txt, so language models get a map of the site.

  • Markdown on request

Any page answers in markdown when asked for text/markdown.

  • API catalogue

An RFC 9727 /.well-known/api-catalog so agents can discover the APIs.

  • Public content API

Read-only endpoints with no key and an OpenAPI 3.1 specification.

08 · 4 features

Tracking & cookie consent

Connect your analytics and ad tools and run a compliant cookie banner from the admin — no developer, no deploy.

  • Tags without code

Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight: paste the ID, switch it on, publish. Live within a minute.

  • Consent that waits

“Ask first” by default, with a Reject button beside Accept. Recorders and pixels do not load until the visitor allows them; Google’s tags follow Consent Mode v2.

  • Your cookie banner

Write its title, message and buttons, point it at your own cookie and privacy policies — or switch it off.

  • Safe by design

IDs only, never pasted scripts; tags run only on your live domain; every change is versioned, restorable and in the audit trail.

09 · 4 features

Analytics in the admin

See how the site does in Google and with visitors without leaving the CMS.

  • Google Search at a glance

Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position from Search Console, day by day, with your top search queries and top pages.

  • Visitors at a glance

Users, sessions and page views from Google Analytics 4, with top pages, where visitors come from, devices and countries.

  • Compared, not just counted

The last 7, 28 or 90 days, each figure against the period before, refreshed every few hours.

  • Your own Google, connected once

Upload a Google service account key and pick your properties. The key is stored encrypted, and a connection test says exactly what to fix.

Governance & security

  • Google-only sign-in

No passwords. The API token stays server-side behind an encrypted session cookie.

  • Roles & permissions

Roles authored in the admin from resource-and-action permissions, with a locked system admin role.

  • Audit trail

Field-level before-and-after diffs, plus an activity log of sign-ins and role changes.

  • Activity & audit report

A dashboard of who published and changed what, from where, by day in your team’s timezone — with sign-ins and IndexNow alongside.

  • Security headers

A per-request nonce content security policy and a separate media origin.

  • Lead forms

Forms created as content with no deploy; a form switched off is refused by the API.

  • Authoring guide

A built-in guide for non-technical editors, with catalogues read live from the API.
